Bitter was part of Camp Entre, having joined the group after being found on one of Rocky and Swag's outings. He is also quickly considered, in early segments of the blog, to be 'Entre's closest friend', despite being previously unaffiliated.

Bitter was found by Swag, Rocky and One-ler on one of their raids, after which he was brought back to Camp Entre. There, Bitter ended up bonding with the camp leader, Entre, who came to consider the other a close friend. Frequently. Bitter would express a feeling of uselessness or unbelonging, to which Entre would do his best to assist the other.
Bitter also became the subject of a few of Swag's tricks, the very first taking place during a fight in camp. When attacked by slugs, Swag dramatically pretended that he had been formally wounded, 'dying' in Bitter's arms. Distraught, Bitter held the other as he spoke what the once-ler believed to be his last words, beginning to grieve for Swag. However, it is soon revealed to be a trick, Swag standing back up to give Rocky a high five as Bitter stared on in disbelief.

Some time during his stay in camp, Bitter had an unfortunate encounter with a wild barbaloot, biting his arm and causing him to become afflicted with the Truffula Flu. Afterwards, Bitter chose to hide this illness from the rest of camp, including Entre.
This soon becomes an issue as Swag parades around camp, outing Bitter and his sickly state. This quickly becomes a topic of discussion between Entre and Bitter, with Entre inciting that something has to be done, with Bitter gradually pulling away from the other. After leaving the decision to Entre, Bitter leaves the other in tears. Soon after, once Bitter has started to acquire boils and has become violent towards Ted, Entre is forced to finalize his decision, approaching Bitter's tent with Dave and telling him that they've decided to put him down.
Bitter, who expresses anger and disbelief at the decision, willingly comes along, Entre and he exchanging their final sentiments before Bitter finally sinks to his knees, encouraging Entre to 'do it' and get it over with. However, with Entre's hand trembling as he takes aim at his closest friend, the shot misses, becoming a nonfatal injury and only causing Bitter immense pain before his death.
Entre soon finishes the job with an axe, ending Bitter's life. Later, One-ler was shown to have found Bitter's body and eaten him.

Bitter, at first, appears to wear a rather standard outfit. He wears a white button-up with the typical once-ler green and black striped tie. He wears green gloves up to his elbows and black pants.
His appearance does not change much after his infection, however he is seen wearing his sleeves pulled up over the injury on his arm. There is also a bloodstain on his sleeve where he received the barbaloot bite
His complexion also changes along with his infection, as he begins to break out in boils and his skin begins to take on a grey shade.

Entre remarks numerous times that Bitter was 'closest friend' until his death. Most of their interactions involve Entre expressing his concern for Bitter's health, urging him to wear a mask for fear that he will become infected. Bitter seems to have a difficult time following these instructions, often seen with his mask off despite Entre's strict instructions and attempts to help. Numerous times, Bitter inquires for Entre's aid, sometimes finding that he feels out of place or without much use in the camp. When Bitter expresses these concerns, Entre is shown to do his best to come to his aid, offering solutions and attempting to manage Bitter's comfort to the best of his ability. When Bitter is revealed to have been infected by the bite of a barbaloot, however, it quickly causes tension between them. Tasked with 'taking care' of Bitter's problem, Entre eventually confronts the other in order to ask what it is that Bitter wants, since he has started to pose a threat to the other camp members. When Entre fails to produce results on Bitter's initial request to find the cure and save him, Entre approaches Bitter a second time, reintroducing the issue of his infection. Bitter struggles with his infected anger, choosing to tell Entre that it is his choice what becomes of him, since it was Entre's fault that the infection started, and thus Entre's fault that Bitter would eventually become infected. Bitter emphasized that he still held belief in Entre's ability to provide him with a cure, threatening to give up if Entre chose to give up on himself. Distraught, Entre eventually comes to the decision to end Bitter's life. With the help of Dave, Entre explains to Bitter that he's made the choice to put him down, to which Bitter expresses great distress and dissatisfaction. However, he does go along with the duo to his death. Entre expresses self-resentment for being the one to make Bitter 'finally lose hope,' and fails to keep up a practiced emotionless facade in favor of a more heartfelt apology. Entre states his tireless work to perfect the cure and heal Bitter has failed, and that he is deeply sorry for being unable to save his friend, who responds by insisting that someday Entre will be able to find the cure, and to believe in himself. As Entre attempts to shoot Bitter, his hands begin to shake, causing the bullet to be nonfatal, and the death to be longer and more painful.
Entre expresses great amounts of grief over Bitter's death, reacting visibly when it is brought up, being haunted by nightmares of killing him, and being tormented by his conscience for murdering him.
Swag[]
Despite being one of the people to find Bitter, Swag seemed to find it bemusing to mess with the other's feelings. After being attacked by an infected imposter in camp, Swag pretended to be mortally wounded. Greatly concerned with Swag's seeming 'death,' Bitter held onto the other as he 'died,' listening to what he believed to be his final sentiments. Bitter seemed clearly emotional at the idea of Swag dying in his arms. However, soon Swag revealed that the entire thing was a trick, and he and Rocky celebrated their successful prank, Bitter looking on in disbelief. Later, after discovering that Bitter was hiding his infection from others, Swag took no issue with marching through camp, announcing that the other had been bitten. When consulting Entre on what he should do about Bitter, Swag did not hesitate to advocate for Bitter's death, encouraging the other to take care of it for the safety of the other camp members.
